1. About RambleBox
RambleBox is provided by Mark Kewley, trading as UK Web Host, as part of Tooltilities. Contact us with app, purchase or legal enquiries. These terms apply to the app and website.
2. Your licence and rights
The app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. These terms explain the service. Nothing excludes your mandatory consumer rights or changes protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. What the app does
RambleBox turns supported spoken English into local text notes. You can edit, optionally clean up, copy, share or export text. It requires iOS 26 or later and compatible speech support. Optional clean-up requires eligible hardware and Apple Intelligence enabled and ready. The first release does not include translation, cloud sync, audio playback or audio export.
4. Accuracy and your content
You retain your rights in your words. You are responsible for having permission to capture and use speech and other content, including the rights of other people. Do not use the app unlawfully.
Speech recognition may mishear words. AI clean-up can make mistakes or change meaning. Review names, figures, requirements and the complete result before relying on or sharing it. Your original transcript remains available. RambleBox is a writing aid, not a guarantee of accurate transcription, an automatic fact checker or a source of professional advice.
5. Storage and availability
Notes are stored locally. Your device storage, battery, temperature, calls and other microphone use can affect capture. Temporary audio is used during transcription and can be retained after interruption for retry. It is removed after a complete transcript is saved or the note is deleted. Recovery of every word cannot be guaranteed.
Backups depend on your device settings. Export important text before deleting the app or changing devices. Shared copies are separate. Apple services and initial downloads may require internet access.
6. Free and Pro
Free allows up to ten saved notes at a time. Pro removes the app-imposed saved-note count limit. Both include transcription, themes, editing, sharing and clean-up where supported. Available storage still applies.
The planned UK launch price of Pro is £19.99, paid once. It is a non-consumable in-app purchase, not a subscription. Apple shows the current local price and terms before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Restore Purchases can restore an eligible purchase on that account. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable law. Pro does not make an unsupported device eligible for Apple Intelligence.
7. Website and contact
The website describes an app that is coming soon until an App Store link is published. No release date is guaranteed. Do not misuse the contact form, send spam, impersonate others or attempt unauthorised access. Our Privacy Policy explains correspondence and website processing.
8. Intellectual property
The RambleBox software, website, branding and original design are protected by intellectual property law. Your licence to use the app does not transfer ownership of these materials. You retain ownership of your own content.
9. Responsibility
We remain responsible for providing the app with the care and skill required by law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to your mandatory rights, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate input, failure to check generated text, copies shared to other services, or device and third-party service conditions beyond our reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular professional purpose.
10. Ending use and changes
You can stop using RambleBox at any time. Deleting the app removes local notes. We may make reasonable changes needed for security, compatibility or legal compliance, while respecting your rights in paid digital content.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers elsewhere retain mandatory local protections and jurisdiction rights. We will update the date above when these terms change and communicate material changes where required.
